Our offer / Ferroalloys

Ferroalloys are master alloys containing some amounts of iron and most frequently one non-ferrous metal or semimetal. Ferroalloys are used mainly as master alloys in ferrous metallurgy because it is the most economical way to introduce an alloy element into steel bath. In addition, special ferroalloys are also required for the production of aluminium alloys and as starting material in certain chemical situations. Ferroalloys used as an addition to steel production improve such steel properties as tensile strength or resistance to abrasion and corrosion. Depending on the used raw material, ferroalloys can be produced as a primary or secondary process.

Ferroalloy we are most interested in are the following:

Ferromolybdenum (FeMo) / min. Mo content - 60%
Ferrotitanium (FeTi) / min. Ti content - 70%
Ferrotungsten (FeW) / min. W content - 70%
Ferrovanadium (FeV) / min V content - 40%
Ferroniobium (FeNb) / min. Nb content - 60%
Ferrochromium (FeCr) / min. Cr content - 60%
Ferromanganese (FeMn) / min. Mn content - 70%
